System Features

The ARi Canal 16 system is designed with a 16 mm chamber to allow the application of special hardware with three-dimensional adjustment for greater efficiency in terms of performance, yield, and security.

The ARi Canal 16 system allows the execution of 2 types of frames:
• Straight line;
• Rustic line.

The ARi Canal 16 system permits the application of high-performance double or triple glazing to meet thermal and acoustic insulation requirements, according to directive no. 2010/31/EU.

With excellent thermal insulation combined with the application of an innovative product called ThermoProfile, the ARi Canal 16 System provides high comfort and energy-saving performance.

Aluminum Profiles
• Profiles with thermal break obtained by insertion of omega-type polyamide insulating rods of 15 and 24 mm reinforced with 25% fiberglass;
• Average thickness of aluminum profiles is 1.7 mm.

Fixed Frames
• Depth of fixed frames of 60 mm with triple chamber;
• Profiles with thermal break obtained through omega-type polyamide rods of 24 mm;
• Fixed frames with double quick-clamp square and alignment squares for mitered assembly;
• Fixed frames for the rustic version;
• Fixed frames with exterior clip and direct finishing of 25 mm or 45 mm;
• Fixed frames with exterior and interior clip for application of finishing of 30, 50, 65 or 80 mm.

Movable Frames
• Depth of movable frames of 68 mm with triple chamber;
• Movable frames with thermal break, obtained through omega-type polyamide rods of 24 mm;
• Sashes with double quick-clamp square and alignment squares for mitered assembly;
• Inverter profile with eyelet for better application of the top inverter;
• Special door sash for entrance doors, hidden sash, with an innovative process for applying the replaceable panel.

Dimensions and Handling
• Minimum - maximum sash dimensions: 391 mm - 1640 mm (W); 520 mm - 2840 mm (H);
• Maximum weight for windows or balcony doors with tilt-and-turn up to 130 Kg;
• Maximum weight for entrance doors up to 150 Kg/sash;
• Opening possibilities: fixed, inward opening 1 or 2 sashes with or without tilt-and-turn, outward opening, tilt, accordion, and tilt-slide;
• Filling for double or triple glazing from 20 mm to 46 mm;
• Three types of special hardware for channel 16 with fast and comfortable three-dimensional adjustment and high-quality surface treatment: UniJet C, UniJet D and UniJet CC Hidden hardware;
• Sealing ensured by EPDM gaskets (interior and central);
• Option with exterior gasket on the fixed frame.

Performance
• System certified by notified laboratory for Initial Type Testing (ITT) according to product standard EN 14351-1:2006+A2:2019 for CE marking purposes.
