The aluminum profiles are extruded from 6060 T5 aluminum alloy for architectural applications in accordance with standard NP EN 12020-02.

The FX – Unitized Façade System is composed of a set of profiles, gaskets, and accessories that allow the creation of aluminum and glass curtain wall façades, using a base structure made up of mullions and transoms with the inclusion of fixed or operable frames, whose distinction is imperceptible from the exterior.

In this façade system, the glass is installed by fixing aluminum clamps screwed to the head of the mullions/transoms, which fit into a technical groove sealed during the glass manufacturing process. The joints between the glass panels are sealed with black structural silicone or a black EPDM gasket. In this way, the glass completely conceals the profiles, giving the façade an exterior appearance composed solely of glass with a 25 mm joint, achieving a VEC (Ventilated External Cladding) effect.

The section of the mullions and transoms is 65 mm, visible only from the interior.

Both profiles have drainage and ventilation channels that, together with the EPDM gasket system, ensure maximum tightness and permeability.

Technical Characteristics of the System

• Mullions and transoms of 45 mm;

• Mullions from 15 mm to 250 mm deep with suitable inertia;

• Reinforcement in aluminum or galvanized steel profile;

• Mullion-to-transom connection with straight cut;

• Mullion-to-transom joint via front and top sealing junction to absorb thermal expansion;

• Mullions anchored to the slab using dimensioned fixing brackets;

• Tightness of the fixed structure ensured by triple sealing with marine-grade EPDM gaskets;

• Projected opening sash indistinguishable from the fixed panes.

Opening Options

The projected opening is operated by stainless steel friction stays with load capacity up to 180 Kg. On the projected sash, glass installation is carried out with perimeter frame profiles that integrate a specially anodized profile to enable bonding with structural silicone.

Finishes

All aluminum profiles allow the following finishes:

• Powder coating, decorative coating (wood effect), or anodizing.

Performances

System certified by a notified laboratory for Initial Type Tests (ITT) in accordance with product standard NP EN 13830:2015 + A1:2021 for CE Marking purposes.
