System Features

Casement system with thermal break and high thermal and acoustic performance.
The AJi Concealed Sash Canal 16 system allows the use of high-performance double glazing to meet thermal and acoustic insulation requirements.
With excellent thermal insulation and the integration of an innovative product called ThermoProfile, the AJi Concealed Sash Canal 16 system offers outstanding comfort and energy efficiency.
Aluminium Profiles

Profiles with thermal break achieved by inserting 30 mm and 18 mm omega-type polyamide insulating bars reinforced with 25% fibreglass.
Average aluminium profile thickness: 1.7 mm.
Fixed Frames

Fixed frame depth: 70 mm with triple chamber.
Thermal break achieved using 30 mm omega-type polyamide bars.
Fixed frames with double quick-fit corner brackets and alignment brackets for mitered assembly.
Rails with double joint for improved fastening.
Fixed frames with external clip and 25 mm or 45 mm trim.
Fixed frames with external and internal clip for 30, 50 or 80 mm trim applications.

Movable Frames

Movable frame depth: 78 mm with triple chamber.
Thermal break achieved using 18 mm omega-type polyamide bars.
Sashes with double quick-fit corner brackets and alignment brackets for mitered assembly.
Inverter profile with eyelets for better top fitting application.

Sizing and Usability
Minimum – maximum dimensions of AJi Concealed Sash Canal 16: 391 mm – 1240 mm (W); 480 mm – 2490 mm (H).
Maximum weight for tilt-and-turn windows or doors: up to 130 kg.
Opening types: fixed, inward opening (1 or 2 sashes) with or without tilt-and-turn, and bottom-hung.
Glass filling for external double glazing from 24 mm to 30 mm and internal glazing up to 8 mm for the Ventilated Concealed Sash solution.
Watertightness ensured by EPDM gaskets (interior and exterior, with optional central gasket).
Allows for micro-ventilation opening.

Performance

System certified by an accredited, notified laboratory for Initial Type Testing (ITT), in accordance with the product standard EN 14351-1:2006+A1:2011, for CE Marking purposes.
