Aluminium system with thermal break for sliding frames.
The CW sliding system enables the execution of 4 versions of frames:
Perimetral, Minimal, Galandage, and Lift-and-Slide.
Aluminium Profiles
• Aluminium profiles are extruded in 6060 aluminium alloy for architecture in accordance with NP EN 12020-02 standard.
• Profiles with thermal break obtained by inserting 6.6 mm polyamide insulating bars reinforced with 25% fibreglass: 30 mm in fixed frames and 14.6 mm in movable frames.
• Average thickness of aluminium profiles: 1.5 mm.
Fixed Frames
• Fixed perimetral frame section with 2 rails of 105 mm for miter joint assembly;
• Lower stainless steel AISI 304 sliding rail profile to avoid part wear.
Movable Frames
• Perimetral movable frame section of 48 mm with miter joint assembly;
• Glazing thickness: 4 to 36 mm;
• Straight-line movable frames with or without glazing bead or with reduced bead;
• Straight glazing beads;
• Sealing ensured by EPDM gaskets and Fin-Seal type brushes.
Sizing and Operability
• Minimum - maximum leaf dimensions: 300 mm - 2500 mm (W); 350 mm - 2675 mm (H);
• Maximum weight: 300 Kg per leaf (with 2 bearings);
• Typologies of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 movable and/or fixed leaves;
• Galandage sliding typologies of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 leaves;
• Double oscillating bearing with adjustment;
• Stainless steel needle bearings with hardened and ground shaft, replaceable without dismantling the leaf;
• External support with cataphoresis treatment (anti-corrosion);
• Opening with side lock or multipoint hardware with 2 or more locking points;
• Offset handles (left or right) for multipoint hardware allowing easier opening;
• Possibility of applying medium-sized lift-and-slide hardware;
• Specific handle for lift-and-slide hardware to facilitate opening and closing manoeuvres;
• Option of double handle with key cylinder for external opening.
Performance
• System certified by an accredited laboratory notified for Initial Type Testing (ITT) in accordance with product standard EN 14351-1 for CE Marking.
