CW
105mm
System Features
Thermally broken aluminium system designed for sliding openings.
The CW sliding system allows the execution of four frame versions:
Perimeter, Minimal, Galandage and Lift-and-Slide.
Aluminium Profiles
• Aluminium profiles extruded in aluminium alloy 6060 for architectural applications, in accordance with standard NP EN 12020-02.
• Thermally broken profiles achieved by inserting 6.6 mm polyamide insulating strips reinforced with 25% glass fibre, with a depth of 30 mm in fixed frames and 14.6 mm in movable frames.
• Average aluminium profile thickness of 1.5 mm.
Fixed Frames
• Section of the perimeter fixed frame with double tracks of 105 mm, designed for mitred assembly;
• Lower sliding guide profile in AISI 304 stainless steel to prevent component wear.
Movable Frames
• Section of perimeter movable frames of 48 mm with mitred assembly;
• Infill thickness from 4 to 36 mm;
• Straight-line movable frames with or without glazing bead, or with reduced glazing bead;
• Straight glazing beads;
• Watertightness ensured by EPDM gaskets and Fin-Seal type pile weatherstrips.
Sizing and Operability
• Minimum–maximum sash dimensions: 300 mm – 2500 mm (W); 350 mm – 3000 mm (H);
• Maximum weight of 300 kg per sash (with 2 rollers);
• Maximum weight of 250 kg per sash in the lift-and-slide version;
• Configurations with 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 movable and/or fixed sashes;
• Galandage sliding configurations with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 sashes;
• Double oscillating adjustable rollers;
• Stainless steel needle rollers with hardened and ground shaft, allowing replacement without removing the sash;
• External support with cataphoresis (anti-corrosion) treatment;
• Opening with side locking or multipoint locking hardware with two or more locking points;
• Offset handles (left or right) for multipoint hardware, allowing easier operation;
• Possibility of applying medium-duty lift-and-slide hardware;
• Specific handle for lift-and-slide hardware to facilitate opening and closing operations;
• Option of double handle with cylinder lock, allowing external operation.
Performance
• System certified by an accredited notified laboratory for Initial Type Testing (ITT), in accordance with product standard EN 14351-1 for CE Marking purposes.
