6º GP Anicolor

The 6th Anicolor Grand Prix took place on July 24th. Starting in Fermentelos and finishing in Águeda, this prestigious race for the region, which is part of the National Road Championship, covered a distance of 170km through the municipalities of Águeda, Aveiro, Ílhavo, Vagos, Anadia, Mealhada, and Oliveira do Bairro.

It was a race with several movements, where initially the intermediate sprints were contested on flat terrain by a large group of riders, followed by the mountains, which selected the strongest and those aiming for victory. Mauricio Moreira managed to gain an advantage over the peloton, which had transformed into a large group, in the company of António Barbio (Tavfer-Mortágua-Ovos Matinados).

The Uruguayan rider from Glassdrive/Q8/Anicolor proved to be the strongest, finishing the race in 1st place with a lead of 1 minute and 51 seconds over the 2nd-place rider.

In the overall team classification, Glassdrive/Q8/Anicolor emerged as the winner.
